🏡 What’s Provided: – Starter Kit: Toilet paper, paper towels, dish/hand/laundry soap, garbage bags, detergent pods. – Not Provided, please bring: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, charcoal, ziplocks, foil, coffee, filters, sweetener, etc. - We have a Ninja coffee maker that takes the cone-type filters. People usually leave them behind, though, so you might not need them! We do not have a Keurig. 🌟 Instacart delivers! 🔒 Booking Requirements: ★ Rental agreement must be signed digitally within one hour of booking and is required for cabin access. The rental agreement is standard and may be sent for review before booking. - All guests must be 25+ unless accompanied by a guardian. ⚠️ Review the cancellation policy, pet policy, and house rules sections of the listing; consider travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances. 🛏 Cabin Layout & Accessibility: - 2 ensuite full bathrooms / 1 half bathroom. - Assess comfort/privacy needs before booking. 🐾 Pets (Pre-Approval Required): - Max 2 small dogs, subject to breed/size approval. No other animals will be considered. Potty pads are prohibited. 👙 Hot Tub: - The hot tub is cleaned between each guest. - Guests may request a mid-stay hot tub cleaning for $65. 🔥 Fireplaces: - The fireplace pilot lights blow out occasionally. We will provide a detailed video on re-lighting. If you're not comfortable or are unable to relight it, a $75 site visit fee will be charged by our handyman ($125 if an after-hours visit is required). - There is no chimney; do not burn anything in the fireplaces, including wood, paper, or kindling. 🐻 Mountain Living: – Bears are knotty and smart; they know how to open unlocked car doors. - Keep the shower curtain inside the tub to prevent costly ceiling/floor damage. – Critters may find their way in; we have regular pest control. – In extreme weather, HVAC may maintain mid-60s (winter) and mid-70s (summer). Rest assured, we will address any issues promptly during your stay. - Power/Internet outages may occur in extreme weather. The well requires power – if there’s an outage, water will stop once the tank runs dry. 📱 Cell service may be limited in some areas. Please download maps offline and enable Wi-Fi calling to avoid connectivity issues. 🚗 Mountain Driving: ⚠️ Upon booking guest is required to acknowledge that All Wheel Drive (AWD / 4x4) will be required to reach the cabin in snow/ice (Oct-May). ▻We strongly suggest winter tires or chains if snow or ice is forecast, as they can significantly enhance traction and control and could be necessary on steep mountain roads. ▻The driveway is paved, has a steep slope down toward the cabin, and can accommodate 6 vehicles when double-parked. ▻If you cannot manage the driveway in snow or ice, there is space to park on the street, but please be mindful of the slippery walk up and down. ★ Purchase Travel Insurance to protect you in the event of weather that would make roads impassable to vehicles with AWD.

We come to the area 3-4 times per year and always stay somewhere new and this was our fav! The most beautiful view and the privacy was unmatched. So clean, beautifully decorated, cozy! Loved that it’s mostly back roads to go anywhere! Huge plus that they also accept fur babies! Highly recommend and will stay here again asap!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Knotty Beaver Retreat. This place felt like home the second we pulled in the drive. It was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. You can’t beat the location right in between Sevierville and Gatlinburg. My kids had a blast with the games that were provided. The hosts were extremely accommodating and always responsive if we needed anything. I will be recommending this place to my friends and family and look forward to planning another trip back!

We had a great stay here with our 3 small children. The back deck was perfect and the view was amazing! The house was beautiful and the games upstairs were a hit with the kids. Internet was fast, AC worked perfectly, everything was as described. Would gladly return someday and highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful house still close to all the attractions.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin ! The place was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The setting was peaceful and surrounded by nature—perfect for unwinding. The host was absolutely amazing—very friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and responded quickly to any questions I had. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet escape with top-notch hospitality!

STOP! LOOK NO FURTHER! BOOK THIS CABIN!! We cannot say enough great things about our experience at the Knotty Beaver! We booked another cabin for our Gatlinburg stay and when we arrived, it was awful! We immediately reached out to the Knotty Beaver and we received a fast response with their availability. We booked this cabin at 10:00 p.m. and by 10:30, we were in the cabin and spending time with family. We could not have been more pleased with the cleanliness and appearance of the cabin. The pictures do not do this beautiful cabin justice! From laundry and dishwasher pods to an abundance of towels and other amenities, we cannot say enough great things about our stay here! The owners were a joy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant and exactly what we had hoped for! This cabin is centrally located to Dollywood, the Gatlinburg strip, Pigeon Forge shopping and so much more! We look forward to staying here again in the future!

We loved our stay at Knotty Retreat’s! The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. Our kids loved the upstairs! They did not want to leave! The cabin is secluded but not too far of a drive from all the activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We would love to stay again!

WOW! Where do I start? This was our first time in TN and using Air BNB. We didn’t know what to expect and went off reading reviews of this cabin. They are all accurate. The communication from the host and attention to detail was outstanding. If we had a question, they got back to us within 5 minutes. They sent recommendations for attractions, food, and local areas to visit. This was very helpful, as we were new to the area. The cabin was just as pictured and well kept. Beautifully decorated too. The view was absolutely amazing! It is hard to beat. The cabin was in a quiet part of the mountain. Very relaxing. The hot tub was perfect for those chillier nights and even during the day. Our son loved the game room! We loved that the cabin had a washer and dryer for us to use during the week. That came in handy. If you’re looking for an extra special place to spend your TN vacation, this is it! Don’t pass this place up!

This was an absolutely gorgeous home with peaceful surroundings and a phenomenal view. We really enjoyed the back deck with the extra living room space. The inside had plenty of furniture and beds for our family. Everything was very comfortable and decorated very nicely. The only tricky thing was the driveway - it was very steep and difficult to park on. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly, and responsive. Great house!

The Knotty Beaver was an ideal location for our stay in the Gatlinburg area. It was centrally located between the Tanger Outlet in Sevierville, Gatlinburg and all the things in Pigeon Forge. While there was a drive, it was 110% worthwhile for the view that welcomed us every morning. The back porch was a mom's paradise, while the game room bedroom upstairs kept our 13-year-old son entertained. Our 16-year-old daughter loved the aesthetic of the entire place. It was really perfect for every member of our family. Knotty Retreat's response to questions and concerns made for a worry-free stay and allowed our family some much need retreat.
